ENVELOPE MINI SCRAPBOOK

SUPPLIES:
3 envelopes – size A2 (Medium 5 ¾” x 4 3/8”) I used Very Vanilla
Designer Series Paper of your choice – I used Bella Blue
Cardstock – Not Quite Navy, Very Vanilla
Ribbon – Taffeta Ribbon Very Vanilla, 5/8” Grosgrain Very Vanilla
Stamp Sets: Defining Alphabet, Tiny Tags
Ink: Next to Navy
Punches: Scallop Circle Punch, 1 ¼” Round Punch, 1 3/8” Round Punch; 1” Round Punch, Medium Jewelry Tag Punch
Big Shot and Top Note Die

DIRECTIONS
1.      Attach sticky strip to the inside flaps of two of the three envelopes, ¼” up from the crease where the flap folds over the envelope.

2.      Remove the red liner and attach envelopes together, matching the crease in the flap to the bottom of the next envelope.

3.      Your basic scrapbook is complete, now you just have to add inserts and decorate.
4.      For the back of the envelopes (the side where you would normally write the address) cut three pieces of Not Quite Navy 5 ½” x 4 1/8”. Attach to each envelope covering the flaps that have been taped to the envelopes.
5.      Cut three pieces of Designer Series Paper (I used Bella Blue) 5 ¼” x 3 7/8” and glue/tape/attach to the Not Quite Navy.
6.      Attach a piece of Not Quite Navy 5 5/8” x 2 1/8” to the flap that is not connected to any envelope and trim to match the flap. Do the same to the other side.
7.      Punch three scallop circles from corresponding DSP and attach to the first flap – they will overlap. From a scrap of Not Quite Navy punch a 1” circle. Centering the 1 3/8” circle punch over this 1” hole, punch a ‘donut’. Attach to the centre of the scallop circle.

8.      Turn the project over to the other side. Trim the opening of the envelope with your scissors as shown in the following photo:

9.      Cut three pieces of Next to Navy cardstock 5 ¼” x 3 ¾”. Cut six Top Note designs in Very Vanilla.
10.  Cut three pieces of 2 ½” Very Vanilla 5/8” Grosgrain ribbon. Staple to the 5 ¼” edge of each piece of the Next to Navy (fold ribbon in centre and place one end on each side of the paper, staple). Attach one Top Note design to each side of the Next to Navy sheets, covering the staple. Set aside

11.  Cut three pieces of Next to Navy cardstock 5 3/8” x 3 ¾”. Cut three pieces of DSP 5 1/8” x 3 5/8”. Centre and glue each piece of DSP to each piece of the cardstock.
12.  Cut three pieces of cardstock 5 3/8” x 1”. Cut three pieces of DSP 5 3/8” x ¾”. Attach DSP to cardstock, attach combined strip to the right hand side of the larger pieces.
13.  Using the Wide Oval Punch punch a section (half of the oval) out of the left side of the completed 5 3/8” x 3 ¾” of cardstock (see above).
14.  Using the Defining Alphabet (or alphabet of your choice), stamp “M-O-M” or “M-U-M” on Very Vanilla card stock using Next to Navy Ink.  Punch out the three letters using the 1 ¼” circle punch.
15.   Punch three Scallop Circles from Very Vanilla cardstock. Punch three 1 3/8” round circles. Attach each letter to a Next to Navy circle, then to the Scallop Circle.
16.  Place each letter on the narrow strip on each envelope – see above photo.

17.  Insert Top Note sheets into the envelopes. These sheets can be used for photos or notes or poems or whatever you wish.
18.  To make the Belly Band cut one piece of Next to Navy 2” x 11” cardstock. Cut one piece of DSP 1 ½” x 11”. Attach DSP to cardstock. Score on the long side at 4 ½, 4 ¾, 9 ¼, 9 ½ . Fold on score lines, place around finished envelope scrapbook and tape ends of the band together.
19.  To embellish Belly Band punch one Scallop Circle from cardstock, punch one 1 3/8” circle from Very Vanilla and punch one 1 ¼” circle from cardstock. Attach the three pieces together.
20.  Stamp ‘love’ from the Tiny Tags stamp set using Next to Navy ink, and punch out with the Medium Jewelry Tag punch. Punch a hole in this tag with the 1/16” handheld punch and tie with the linen thread.
21.  Using Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon tie and bow and attach to the Scallop circle with a glue dot. Tie ‘love’ tag to the bow.

Congratulations, You’re Done!
